Vista Trouble

Microsoft have been having some internal troubles recently, after some of the head honchos bought thousands of Dollars worth of ‘Vista Capable’ PC’s, only to be left with a basic e-mail machine.

The problem is caused by the massive load the Vista can put on a PC. The basic package with no visual effects, or fancy workings will run on vista capable PC’s, but what about Vista Ultimate? The full fat version of the new OS is so processor and RAM heavy that it cripples many machines that are claimed to be able to run it.

This has been a major issue for Microsoft, as it has led many people to head back to Windows XP, its much more stable younger brother. After announcing that support for XP would end this June, there will now be a new service pack released, and technical support will reach well into 2009.
