Chrome browser removed?

If you have noticed your Google Chrome browser not loading or removed from your PC, your anti-virus software may have inadvertently removed it.

Microsoft’s Security Essentials anti-virus software has accidentally detected the Google Chrome browser as an infected file. Many PC users have noticed the message “Potential Threat Detected – PWS:Win32/Zbot” from their security software and followed the recommendation to remove or quarantine it. This will render the Chrome browser unusable due to an error in the Security Essentials detection database.

To fix the issue, click the Update option within Security Essentials and update to the 1.113.815.0 version. Once complete you can go to Google to re-install Chrome.
