Internet Explorer 8 Available

Microsoft have released the latest version of their web browser, Internet Explorer 8, after almost a year of testing.

With speed tests comparable to Mozilla’s Firefox and Apple’s Safari browsers, IE8 is an improvement over the little adopted Internet Explorer 7 browser. New features including ‘Web Slices’ and ‘Accelerators’ will be an attractive option to encourage users to upgrade their browsing experience.

Available for all Windows versions, with the exception of Windows 95 and the Windows 7 beta.

A full list of features and links to download are available from Microsoft.

  1. I encourage everyone to upgrade. Especially if they are running IE6. The experience of the web is much better with a modern browser.
